Registration for Summer Basketball is open!
2026 Summer Basketball Season Information
- West Melbourne Basketball will be hosting the 2026 summer basketball season at Rodes Park.
- The season dates for the summer season are as follows.
- May 25: Practices begin.
- June 6: First regular season games.
- July 4: No games.
- July 25: Last regular season games
- August 1/2: Playoff weekend
- All games are played on Saturdays at the Rodes Park Community Center gym. Practices will be held on weekday evenings, with the days & times determined by the coaches. All practices will be outdoors at Rodes Park.
- The cost of registration for the summer league is $95.
- Registration will be online through this web site beginning at 7 pm on April 29.

West Melbourne Basketball
- All divisions are co-ed (both boys & girls). The age group divisions for the summer basketball season are are below.
- Ages 9 & 10: Rookie Division
- Ages 11 & 12: Pee Wee Division
- Ages 13 & 14: Junior Division
- Ages 15 & 16: Senior Division
- The league age date for the summer basketball season will be August 1, 2026.
- All players must play in at least 4 of the 7 games in order to be eligible for playoffs. Injury is the only exception, but players must be present and on the bench with their team in order for attendance to count.
- Player evaluations will take place on May 17, 2026 at Pineapple Cove Academy, 3455 Norfolk Pkwy, West Melbourne. All players must be checked-in by a Parent or Guardian. Out of fairness to our volunteer coaches, all players are expected to be at evaluations.
