2026-2027 Basketball Registration Information

  • Registration for the 2026–2027 Winter League of West Melbourne Basketball will open in October!
  • Season Information
    • The season will run from December 2026 - February 2027.
      • There will be 8 regular season games.
      • There will be a 2 week break for the Christmas & New Years holidays.
      • There will be post-season playoffs and All-Star games.
      • Players must participate in at least 6 of the 8 regular-season games to be eligible for the playoffs and All-Star Game.
    • The league age date is February 1, 2027. (See table for divisions and ages.)
  • Registration Information
    • All registration will be online through this web site.
    • The registration fee for the 2026-2027 Winter Basketball season will be $130.
    • Early registration will be held for players returning from last Winter Basketball season.
      • Emails will be sent with registration information to the addresses used to register players who participated in last year’s Winter League4
      • The early registration period will be 48 hours. Following the early registration period, general registration will be open for all players (new & returning).
    • West Melbourne Basketball uses PayPal to securely collect the registration fee. PayPal does not require an account to use a credit or debit card.
  • Coaches Needed!
    • WM Basketball is currently seeking committed coaches for all age divisions.
    • If you are interested in coaching, please email basketball@gwmaa.org and include:
      • A brief background about yourself
      • Any experience mentoring or working with young people
      • Your previous coaching experience, if applicable
    • We are looking for coaches who are consistent, dependable, and committed to our league and players. During the season, our athletes should be a coach’s first athletic priority. These young players deserve nothing less.
